TRU hosts cross-country running nationals

The TRU WolfPack hosted the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Cross Country Running Championships, which were held on Saturday, Nov. 12, on McArthur Island.

Jodi Sanquin of Red Deer College won the women’s five-kilometre race with a time of 18:10.

Andy Pohl of the University of Alberta won the men’s side, finishing the eight-kilometre race in 25:30.

Faryn Brown was the top female runner from TRU, finishing the race in 22:01, good enough for 58th place.

Obed Masege was the WolfPack’s fastest man. He placed 46th with a time of 28:59.
