Knezevic headed to Scotties

The Patti Knezevic rink won the B final at a provincial women’s qualifier at McArthur Island Curling Club on Sunday, Dec. 4.

The Knezevic rink earned a berth in the Scotties B.C. women’s championship, scheduled for Jan. 23 to Jan. 29 in North Vancouver.

Rounding out the Knezevic rink are coach Ken Brown, third Brenda Garvey and second Chelan Cotter of Kamloops, along with lead Rhonda Camozzi of Prince George.

Knezevic, a Prince George resident, beat Karla Thompson’s rink 7-5 in the B final.

Jen Rusnell, also of Prince George, won the A event and will attend provincials.
