Vikes victorious
The Valleyview Vikings junior boys’ basketball team won gold at the Fulton Classic in Vernon on the weekend (Dec. 9 to Dec. 11).
Valleyview knocked off Mt. Boucherie of Kelowna in the tournament final.
Coach John Demidoff said the win marked the first time a school from Kamloops has won the Fulton Classic.
Brennan Hegel of the Vikings was named a first-team tournament all star, while Layton Demidoff was named tournament MVP.
