Grade 8 Titans host Snow Basher
The South Kamloops Titans Grade 8 girls' basketball team hosted and won silver at the Snow Basher Tournament on the weekend.
South Kam lost 38-37 in overtime to the Vernon Panthers.
Hanna McDonald, with 17 points, and Hannah Marra, with seven points, were the Titans' top scorers.
The Titans topped St. Ann's 42- 22 in the round-robin, with Tamika Tallio scoring 12 points and Lynn Morrison adding eight.
In the semifinal round, South Kam edged Clarence Fulton of Vernon 41-26.
McDonald scored 16 points.
