Sunrays attend Vernon meet, prepare for show
There were 13 members of the Kamloops Sunrays in synchronized-swimming action at the Vernon Acquatic Centre on Sunday, Dec. 11.
Finishing third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively, in 12-and-under Level 2 competition were Emily Johnstone, Dulcie Jakubec, Charlotte Ribalkin, Evelyn Brisco and Elisabeth Moore.
Jaden Ryder placed fifth in Level 2 13-and-over figures competition. Rebecca Elland and Mikalya Hayes finished sixth and eighth, respectively, in the same category.
Cameron Blades, Clarissa Nauss, Katie Ignace, Jaime Perry and Emily Crowe placed first, second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in Level 3 12-and-over figures competition.
The Sunrays are performing a winter show at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, at the Tournament Capital Centre.
