KSTORM-COLORONLINE.jpg

The Kamloops Storm are back in action this weekend after a lengthy Christmas break.

Summerland is hosting Kamloops on Friday, Jan. 6, a day before the Storm return home to host the Kimberley Dynamiters at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, at McArthur Island Sports Centre.

The Storm will be looking to get back on track after posting only two wins in eight December games.

Kamloops is tied with the Beaver Valley Nighthawks for first place in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League with 55 points.

The Revelstoke Grizzlies are five points back of the Doug Birks Division-leading Storm.

Kamloops has not played since Dec. 18, when the Chase Heat topped the Storm 5-4 in overtime at McArthur.
