Titans claim gold in Maple Ridge
The South Kamloops Titans senior girls’ basketball team won gold at a tournament in Maple Ridge on the weekend.
Despite missing injured players Abby Grinberg, Bethany Del Begio, Ashley Lamoureux and Sienna Aberdeen, the Titans cruised to a 64-34 win over Mount Douglas in the final.
Madi Ellis, Hailey Hamer-Jackson and Kiersten Landrie earned player of the game honours in South Kam’s wins over Maple Ridge, Claremont and Mount Douglas.
