Howe holds court

gordie_howe_3_RGBcopy.jpg

Gordie Howe, at the tender age of 83, has not lost his sense of humour. Mr. Hockey cracked jokes and fielded

questions from

members of the Kamloops media at Interior Savings Centre on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Topics included the state of the game, fighting, concussions, the good old days and vigilante justice on the ice.

Howe’s son, Marty, was on hand to aid his aging father in answering the questions.

As the press conference came to a close, Mr. Hockey joked he would be suiting up for the Kamloops Blazers against the Spokane Chiefs in WHL action on Wednesday night.
