Bronze birdies

Anica Arduini won a bronze medal in women’s doubles play for the TRU WolfPack at the Pacific Western Athletic Association badminton championships, held in the TRU Gym on the weekend (Feb. 18 and Feb. 19).

Anica Arduini won a bronze medal in women’s doubles play for the TRU WolfPack at the Pacific Western Athletic Association badminton championships, held in the TRU Gym on the weekend (Feb. 18 and Feb. 19).

Her partner was Marlee Mertens.

Also winning medals for TRU were Kia Lidster, who won bronze in the women’s singles division, and Joey Chu, who won bronze in men’s singles.

TRU is hosting the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association championships from March 1 to March 3.
