Graber rink golden
Kamloops is home to two senior men’s provincial curling champions.
Dennis Graber’s Kamloops/Prince George rink — the skip Graber and third Brian Windsor, both of Kamloops, alongside second Garnet Boese and lead David Johnston, both of Prince George — beat Doug Meger of New Westminster 7-4 in the final of the B.C. senior men’s curling championship on Sunday, Feb. 19, in Kelowna.
The Graber rink, which came back from a 4-1 deficit to win in the final, finished the round-robin 6-1 and advanced straight to the championship matchup.
Next up for the provincial champions is the Canadian senior men’s championship, which runs from March 17 to March 25 in Abbotsford.
Graber and Windsor are Kamloops Curling Club members.
