Classics compete at Westerns
There were five Kamloops Classics in action at the Western Canadian Swimming Championships, which wrapped up on Sunday, Feb. 19, in Winnipeg.
Gia Bogetti, in the 16-and-over women’s division, placed eighth in both the 100-metre fly and the consolation final of the 200-metre fly.
Dylana Milobar finished third in the 16-and-over women’s 100-metre breaststroke consolation final.
Megan Dalke set a new club record in the 14-and-under girls’ 400-metre individual medley with a time of 5:12.18.
The relay team of Bogetti, Milobar, Dalke and Shaina Kloska broke a 14-year-old club record in the 4x100 medley relay with a time of 4:28.06.
Sky Camille also competed for the Classics in Winnipeg.
