Kamloops rink vying for provincial berth
The Kamloops-based Simone Groundwater rink will compete at the regional mixed curling playdowns in Revelstoke this weekend.
Skip Groundwater, accompanied by third Brent Yamada, second Laura Ball and lead Corey Sauer, kick their tournament off against the Brian Lecompte rink of Revelstoke at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24.
The winner of the regional qualifier will earn a spot at the Williams Moving and Storage B.C. Mixed Curling Championship, which run from March 15 to March 19 in Nanaimo.
