Titans are provincial hoops champions
The Titans had a ball on the weekend in the Lower Mainland.
The South Kamloops Titans senior girls basketball squad captured the B.C. AAA title on Saturday night (March 10) in North Vancouver with a 65-61 win over Vancouver's York House Tigers.
The championship is the first for the school's senior girls' hoops team since 1964, when the Kamloops High Red Angels won the provincial crown.
Also on the weekend, the South Kamloops Titans junior girls finished second in B.C. via a 47-41 loss to Oak Bay in Langley.
