Madaisky, Cheveldave second-team all stars
Two Kamloops Blazers were named second-team WHL Western Conference all stars at a league press conference on Thursday, March 22, at Interior Savings Centre.
Defenceman Austin Madaisky and goaltender Cole Cheveldave got the nod.
"It feels great to be recognized," said Madaisky, who finished the season with 50 points, 13 of them goals.
"A lot of it can be attributed to the team's success this year."
The blue-liner was plus-20 this season.
Cheveldave, a rookie, posted a 2.62 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage.
