Blazers win Game 1
The Kamloops Blazers are one win closer to Round 2 of the WHL playoffs.
Kamloops beat the Victoria Royals 4-1 on Friday, March 23, at Interior Savings Centre in Game 1 of a best-of-seven quarter-final series.
The Blazers scored three times in the second period to pull away from the Royals in front of 4,948 fans.
Dylan Willick, Tim Bozon (2) and Chase Schaber notched goals for the home team.
Robin Soudek scored the visitors' only goal.
Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday, March 24, at ISC.
