Brown rink in Ontario
Corryn Brown and her Kamloops rink will compete at the Optimist International under-18 curling championships in Mississauga and Toronto this week.
The girls' draw at the Optimist will feature rinks from New Brunswick, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Northwest Territories, Michigan, Wisconsin and Japan.
Brown's rink, which opens against New Brunswick on Thursday, April 5, is co-coached by Ken Brown and Brian Fisher.
The Kamloops rink — skip Brown, Erin Pincott at third, second Samantha Fisher and lead Sydney Fraser — will play twice on Friday, April 6, against Wisconsin and Japan, and twice on Saturday, April 7, against Quebec and Saskatchewan.
The playoffs will be played on Sunday, April 8.
