KGTC attends Delta Invitational

The Kamloops Gymnastics Trampoline Centre crew attended the Delta Invitational, which wrapped up on Sunday, May 13, in Ladner.

Competing against some of the best gymnasts in B.C., Emily Schultz, 23, placed 14th all-around, while 13-year-old Kassia Gifford placed 25th all-around.

In the Level 4 Open division, 16-year-old Lauren Wotton won gold all-around, while Shayla Gifford, 11, competing in the Level 4 All Novice category, placed fifth all-around.

In the Level 3 Novice/Open division, Emilee Gal, 13, placed eighth all-around, while Kierra Patterson, 13, placed second on vault, fifth on floor and eighth on bars.

In the Level 3 Tyro division, Quinn Butcher, 11, Taylor Gray, 12, and Jade Wood, 11, finished fifth, seventh and ninth all-around, respectively.

Hope Harvey, 13, placed 11th all-around in the Level 2 Novice category.

Chantal Martens and Martina Fish, both 11, placed fifth and 15th all-around, respectively, in the Level 2 Tyro division.

Christine Strain, 10, Bella Wood, 9, Linnea Ganstal, 10, Emma Guertin, 10, and Taylor Baxter, 10, placed fifth, eighth, ninth, 13th and 14th all-around, respectively, in the Level 2 Argo division.
