Strong lineup for coaches conference
The Kamloops Minor Hockey Association is hosting the sixth annual Kamloops Coaches Conference from July 13 to July 15 at the Tournament Capital Centre.
Speaking at the conference this year are Ken Hitchcock, head coach of the NHL's St. Louis Blues, Don Hay, head coach of the WHL's Vancouver Giants, Guy Charron, head coach of the Kamloops Blazers, Dave Hunchak, associate coach of the Blazers, Terry Bangen, senior advisor with the WHL's Tri-City Americans, Petr Studnicka, director of coaching with the Czech Republic Ice Hockey Federation, Dan De Palma, the Blazers' goalie coach, and Greg Kozoris, certified strength and conditioning coach.
The cost to attend the conference is $295, which includes the presentations, a conference gift, a Friday night social, continental style breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, along with lunch and dinner on Saturday.
