Lift Off to London
Kamloops is home base to some of the best athletes in the world.
Five of them — Dylan Armstrong, Justin Rodhe, Sultana Frizell, Kibwe Johnson and Catharine Pendrel — are heading to the Summer Olympic Games, which run from July 27 to Aug. 12 in London.
PacificSport Interior BC and the Kamloops Track and Field Club held a sendoff party for the athletes at the Tournament Capital Centre on Monday, July 2.
KTW was in attendance.
