Rattlers pushed to the brink
The Kamloops Rattlers will have to come from behind if they want to advance to the Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League final.
Kamloops fell 9-5 to the hometown Armstrong Shamrocks in Game 1 of a best-of-three semifinal series on Wednesday, July 4.
Memorial Arena in Kamloops is the venue for Game 2, which gets underway at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 6.
Recording points for the Rattlers on Wednesday were J.J. Woldum (2G, 2A), Nathan Woldum (1G, 2A), Russ McIntosh (1G, 2A), Liam Hagerty (1G, 1A), Mark Jurista (1A) and Ryland DeRose (1A).
Mike Smith was replaced in Kamloops' goal after 33 minutes by Stu Ford, who played the remainder of the game.
