RiverDogs rolling
The Kamloops RiverDogs wrapped up second place in the midget AAA B.C. Minor Baseball Association standings with a 3-1 record on the weekend.
Kamloops split a pair of games with Chilliwack on Saturday, July 21, before doubling up on Victoria on Sunday, July 22.
The ‘Dogs finished the season 24-9. Victoria placed first with a 27-4 mark.
The provincial championship runs from Aug. 2 to Aug. 5 in Chilliwack.
Kamloops won provincials on home soil in 2011.
