Pack grows by one
The TRU WolfPack added blue-line depth this week, signing defenceman Jordan Urban of Kelowna.
Urban, a former member of the now-defunct Okanagan College Coyotes, is looking forward to making an impact with his new B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League (BCIHL) club.
“I’m extremely excited about coming to play for the WolfPack while completing my MBA,” he said.
“When [WolfPack general manager] Chris [Hans] called me and asked to play this year, I looked into the program. When I was accepted, it was an easy decision to make.”
Hans is happy to have him on board.
“While it is very unfortunate that OC ceased operation of their hockey program, I am very excited to add a player of Jordan’s quality and character to our program,” Hans said.
“Jordan brings veteran experience to our blue-line corps having played three seasons in the BCIHL.”
