Blazers’ training camp opens on McArthur
Kamloops Blazers hockey is back.
The Western Hockey League club’s first on-ice sessions, for rookies only, get underway on Friday, Aug. 24, at McArthur Island Sports Centre.
Rookie-camp sessions will run Friday and Saturday, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 9:15 p.m.
Main camp will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McArthur on Sunday, Aug. 25, and Monday, Aug. 26.
Training camp concludes with the Blue vs. White game at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Interior Savings Centre.
Tickets for the intra-squad game are $5.
The Blazers’ first exhibition game, against the Victoria Royals, is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30, at ISC.
Training-camp rosters have not yet been released.
