Cycling to beat MS
The Thompson River Ride Bike Tour, a fundraiser for the MS Society of Canada, is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 9.
Riders can enter as singles or on teams of four or more.
There are four distances — 12, 28, 40 or 100 kilometres — from which to choose.
Riders begin their ride from Riverside Park alongside the South Thompson River and cross the Overlander Bridge, continuing along the River’s Trail beside the scenic North Thompson River and return along the same route.
Check-in time is 7:30 a.m. and the ride gets underway between 8:45 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Early check-in runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, at the MS Society office (180-546 St. Paul St.).
