Nationwide sports and jersey days upcoming
A celebration of Sports Day in Canada and the Tournament Capital Centre's fifth anniversary will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29.
Visit the TCC from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to enjoy sport demonstrations, food, cake, a climbing wall, an inflatable obstacle course and more.
Free swimming will be available from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A cake will be cut and a ceremony will be held at noon.
As part of the Sports Day weekend celebrations, Kamloopsians are encouraged to participate in Jersey Day, a nationwide event, on Friday, Sept. 28.
"Show your love and support for sport by wearing a jersey, or team or club uniform to school, work, or play," a press release said.
