The Kamloops Rugby Club Raiders posted two wins and one loss in B.C. Rugby Union play on Saturday, Nov. 24.
In women’s first-division action, the Raiders earned a 26-15 win over Capilano Rugby Club of Vancouver.
The tilt, played in Delta, was a playoff battle for fifth place.
Emily Young scored two tries, with Kalea Nokleby and Carla Twan adding singles.
Jess Oldenburger booted three conversions.
Both the men’s first- and second-division teams played regular-season matches against United Rugby Club in Coquitlam.
The first-division Raiders downed United 22-5.
Sam Bogetti touched down for two tries, with Cole Greer and Mark Farmer adding singles.
Brandon Kicia tacked on one conversion.
In men’s second-division play, United downed Kamloops 35-19.
Shaun Roberts, Dillon Alexandre and Sky Ferguson were the Raiders’ try scorers.
Tyler Wood kicked two conversions.
Both the first- and second-division men will close the fall half of the regular season with matches against hometown Vancouver Rowing Club on Dec. 1.
