Skating in the Puddle

There were eight Valleyview Skating Club members at the Cariboots ‘n Blades competition, held from Friday, Dec. 7, to Sunday, Dec. 9, in Williams Lake.

Cassandra Labermeyer won gold in the Bronze Interpretive division and bronze in the Senior Bronze Freeskate category.

Holly Neufeld placed third in Bronze Interpretive, while Kirsty Newbury was fourth in both the Bronze Interpretive and Star 4 Freeskate.

Lauren Mark won bronze in the Star 3 Freeskate and placed fifth in Introductory Interpretive.

Jana DeJong won bronze in the Star 3 Freeskate and gold in Introductory Interpretive.

Winning a pair of silver medals was Mackenzie Sewell — in the Star 3 Freeskate and Introductory Interpretive.

Brenna Wassing placed second in the Star 2 Freeskate and Alyssa Davis was third in the Star 2 Freeskate.
