Thompson Blazers to play at ISC
The Thompson Blazers' roster is ladened with River City talent and this weekend the Chase-based club will play twice at Interior Savings Centre.
"We were lucky enough to be able to move our games this weekend to the ISC here in Kamloops and we're hoping to get as many people out as possible to watch this very fast and exciting hockey," a club press release said.
The Blazers play in the B.C. Major Midget League.
Admission is free on Saturday, Dec. 15, and Sunday, Dec. 16, when the Blazers host the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.
Puck-drop is slated for 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, with game time the following day set for 12:45 p.m.
At 1-19-2, the Blazers are last in the 11-team league, while the Thunderbirds, at 4-16-2, are ninth.
Included on the roster are Kamloops products Nicholas Chyzowski and Kevin Davis, both of whom won gold playing for Team Pacific at the Western Canada Under-16 Challenge Cup in Calgary in November.
