Chyzowski an all star
Kamloops Blazers' fans will be happy to hear one of their team's draft picks is maintaining a high level of play in the B.C. Major Midget League (BCMML) ranks.
Nick Chyzowski, drafted in Round 2 of the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft by the Blue and Orange, is the only Thompson Blazer going to the BCMML all-star game, scheduled for Jan. 18 in Langley.
The 1997-born forward has seven goals and 11 points in 23 games. The Chase-based Blazers sit last in the 11-team major-midget league.
Chyzowski will play on Team Red, a talented group that includes the No.1 overall pick in the 2012 bantam draft, Matthew Barzal of the Vancouver North East Chiefs.
