Storm on skid
A disappointing weekend has left the Kamloops Storm’s losing streak sitting at seven games.
Kamloops fell 3-1 to Penticon in 100 Mile House on Friday, Jan. 11, before returning home to lose 4-2 to Nelson on Saturday, Jan. 12, and 2-0 to Sicamous on Sunday, Jan. 13.
The Storm (13-23-2-4) sit fourth in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League’s Doug Birks Division.
Kamloops is playing the Grizzlies in Revelstoke on Friday, Jan. 18.
On Saturday, Jan. 19, the Storm are hosting the Grand Forks Border Bruins at McArthur Island Sports and Events Centre.
Puck-drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
