B.C. Aboriginal Provincial Track and Field Development Camp set for February
The B.C. Aboriginal Provincial Track and Field Development Camp will be hosted by the Kamloops Track and Field Club on Feb. 15. at the Tournament Capital Centre.
Sanctioned by B.C. Athletics, the one-day camp is for Aboriginal youth aged 10 to 18 who "want to hone existing skills, learn new ones and experience various track and field events while gaining quality coaching and instruction in a positive, fun and professional atmosphere," according to a press release.
There is no cost involved, but participants must register by Friday, Feb. 8, by calling Anne Keith at 250-828-9801 or emailing her at akieth@kib.ca.
The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
