Pack back from first spring race
The TRU WolfPack cross-country team had a strong showing at the first race of the spring season, the Starting Block 10 K in Lavington on Sunday, Feb. 10.
Coach Jack Miller was first in the men’s 65- to 69-year-old division in 44 minutes and 11 seconds.
Igor Pichugin was second in the men’s 20- to 29-year-oold category, finishing in 41:29, just ahead of teammate Francisco Canizal, who completed the race in 41:33.
In the women’s divisions, Jessie Paustian was third in the 20- to 29-year-old division with a time of 49:15.
Xena Dzubko was sixth, crossing the finish line in 54:60.
