Lipon paces Blazers in victory
JC Lipon scored three goals for the Kamloops Blazers in a 3-0 shutout victory over the Kelowna Rockets at Interior Savings Centre on Sunday, March 3.
Cole Cheveldave stopped 25 shots and recorded the shutout for Kamloops, while Jordon Cooke took the loss for Kelowna.
Lipon, playing on a line with Brendan Ranford and Cole Ully, scored twice in the first period and once in the third.
Ully and Ranford had two assists apiece.
Kamloops is hosting the Victoria Royals on Tuesday, March 5, at ISC. Game time is 7 p.m.
The Rockets lead the B.C. Division, three points up on the Blazers with a game in hand.
