You have a few hours to bid on the right to light the two cranes at Royal Inland Hospital.

The highest bidder will flip the switch that lights up the cranes for the holidays and receive a a $100 gift certificate to Earls restaurant, a holiday collection of chocolates from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and a bottle of bubbly.

The auction runs until 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, online at https://www.facebook.com/RIHFoundation/.

Lighting of the cranes will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 4:30 p.m.

The cranes are being used by Ellis Don as the company works on the $417-million patient-care tower expansion at the hospital. The tower is scheduled to open in 2022.
