The City of Kamloops is seeking feedback from the public on curbside organic waste collection.
Two online information sessions will be held in the coming weeks. The information sessions will take place on Wednesday, April 14, from noon to 1 p.m. and Thursday, April 29, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
In addition, an online survey is available online until May 18. It can be accessed at https://letstalk.kamloops.ca/organics, where residents can also find the link to the online Zoom sessions.
The city said the survey seeks to understand waste-related habits, identify concerns and measure support for the project. In addition, data collected from the survey will be used to select routes for the pilot program, which is launching in the fall.
Those who respond to the survey can enter to win one of three $100 gift certificates to local garden/landscaping stores.
Registration is not required for the information sessions.
