BC Interior Community Foundation board member Cara Gates joined the Boogie team of Jo Berry, Jenn Ruemper and Karen Henning to present a giant cheque to the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music students and Megan Alpaugh of the Kamloops Music Collective.

Each year, Boogie The Bridge donates close to 50 per cent of its registration fees to two local Kamloops charities, as well as to the Boogie the Bridge Cultural Fund that is held at BCICF. The Boogie Cultural Fund has grown quite large over the years and it’s become a significant source of funding for charities in the arts and culture sector.

The earnings from the fund are distributed annually.
