Eye on Community: Fundraising for science

Kiwanis Club of Kamloops secretary Roger Parkes presents a cheque in the amount of $3,057.16 to Big Little Science Centre of Kamloops executive director Gord Stewart. The money was raised at the Kiwanis Club’s weekly meat draw and 50/50 raffle at Bailey’s Pub in North Kamloops in October and November 2020, prior to the pandemic-related health orders closed indoor dining.

The Kiwanis Club of Kamloops is looking forward to being able to hold the meat draw and 50/50 raffle again when health orders are lifted.
