Kiwanis Club members clean up nicely

The Kiwanis Club of Kamloops celebrated the last day of spring — June 19 —with a spring yard clean-up at the Kamloops Child Development Centre in North Kamloops.

Many hands make light work and soon the weeds were being bagged and on their way to the compost and the centre was looking ready for summer.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the service club has suspended its normal fundraising events and continue to meet virtually by Zoom.
