Now you can also ride for the kids

Due to the pandemic, the Cops for Kids charity will not have its usual 30-member team pedalling across the region this September, instead opting to designate a few local riders to complete each leg of the 10 days on behalf of the team.

The remainder of the team will continue to pedal 100 kilometres each day in their home communities.

Cops for Kids raises money for families who must travel to receive medical care outside their home communities.

The new Cops for Kids Virtual Ride for the Life of a Child invites cyclists of all abilities to register to complete various distances from home. To register or to make a donation to one of the riders, go online to copsforkids.org.
