Food Hub group sets public meeting for next week

The Kamloops Food Hub is looking to pick the public’s brain on the type of food hub model it wants to see rise in the Tournament Capital.

People are invited to a meeting on Wednesday at Mount Paul Community Food Centre,140 Laburnum Street, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., to give their input.

The Kamloops Food Policy Council is one of six organizations in B.C. that was awarded $50,000 from the Ministry of Agriculture earlier this year to study the feasibility of a food processing facility in the community and the Nov. 6 meeting is the latest step in the process.
