Having fun at Kamloops’ public works open house

The City of Kamloops held its annual public works open house on Saturday, May 25, with large crowds of people moving through the public works yard in the McGill industrial area to check out what crews do on a daily basis.

Kids were able to get a bird’s-eye view of the city in city machines, while residents could also learn details of how the infrastructure most take for granted is maintained daily by city employees.
