On Wednesday night at Sandman Centre, the City of Kamloops handed out two Freedom of the City Awards and seven Exemplary Service Awards.

On Wednesday night at Sandman Centre, the City of Kamloops handed out two Freedom of the City Awards and seven Exemplary Service Awards.

All nine recipients received their awards from Mayor Ken Christian, with every honoree citing the importance of volunteering in their short speeches to a large crowd that included family, friends and city staff.
