Indigenous Peoples Day to be celebrated with event near Chase

The Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band is hosting an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration on Thursday, June 21, at Quaaout Lodge near Chase.

The event will run from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and include cultural activities and tours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by an official welcome by Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band Chief Oliver Arnouse and the Secwepemc Youth Drummers.

The evening will be capped off with a live concert featuring DJ Shrub with opening act Mihirangi.
