The Kamloops Ambassador Program is a 100-year-old tradition in Kamloops that is accepting applications for 2022.

Students in grades 10 to 12 are invited to apply to be a Kamloops Ambassador candidate.

The Kamloops Ambassador Program is a youth leadership program that, over a six-month span, instills in participants self-confidence, leadership abilities, volunteership and the development of life-long friendships.

Those seeking to supplement their education and learn new skills, while also having fun, can attend one of two information meetings this month.

Candidates and their parents/guardians are welcome to attend the meetings at Heritage House in Riverside Park, on Sunday, Jan. 9, at 2 p.m. or on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 6:30 p.m.
