Photo: Boeing CH-47 Chinook lands briefly at YKA

A Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopter landed briefly at Kamloops Airport on Thursday morning (May 20).

The helicopter kept engines powered on while flight crew members could be observed inspecting the exterior of the large craft.

After about 30 minutes, the United States Army-marked Chinook and crew hovered briefly, before flying westward.
