Pounding the pavement for Parkinson’s research

About 200 people ventured to Riverside Park on Saturday, Sept. 7, to join the Parkinson’s SuperWalk, an annual event held in Kamloops and across Canada to raise awareness of Parkinson’s disease and money for research into the nervous system disorder that affects movement.

Organizers of the Kamloops event raised more than $27,000 this year.
