People attending Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops from June 14 to June 22 will face construction that will reduce Third Avenue to single-lane traffic only.
As part of the RIH patient-care tower construction, crews will be working on a new sidewalk along Third Avenue. Interior Health said people with appointments at the hospital between June 14 and June 22 may wish to consider allowing extra time to reach their destinations.
The work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The road will remain open to single-lane traffic and traffic control flaggers will be in place to help direct vehicles and pedestrians.
