Book and music hunters will be looking for treasure in May with the return of Barb's Used Book and Music Sale, an annual fundraiser for the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra.
The sale, which will run from May 7 to May 21, features a curated selection of used books, sheet music, vinyl records, DVDs and CDs, with most available for $2 each.
The former Value Village site downtown, at 444 Seymour St., will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Those most eager to browse the sale's wares can purchase one of 50 limited $25 tickets for two hours of access on Friday, May 6. Tickets can be found online at Eventbrite or by calling the box office at 250-372-5000.
Donations for the sale will be accepted from May 4 to May 6 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at 444 Seymour St.
The semi-annual sale was spearheaded by Barb Corbishley and it has beared her name since her passing.
