Thompson Rivers University nursing student Julia Mercuri listens to four-year-old Ryder Campbell talk about his toy friend during the annual Teddy Bear clinic on Saturday, March 16,at the downtown library.

The event saw nursing students interact with kids. The children were able to learn how to care for their beloved stuffies, while the nurses-to-be used the clinic as a way to hone the technical skills they have learned and to practise their bedside manner.
