The Big Edition is a newspaper sold on the streets of Kamloops by homeless and low-income vendors.
Selling the newspaper is an alternative to panhandling and offers financial support to people living in poverty.
Vendors buy each copy of the newspaper for 50 cents and sell it on the street for $3, keeping all profits.
Publication of The Big Edition is an undertaking of the Lived Experience Committee in Kamloops.
Kamloops This Week has helped with distribution of the monthly newspaper and is, under this tab on its website, pleased to feature some stories from The Big Edition.
